Return to Yabassi: School Supply Distribution & Cardiovascular Screening

On August 23, 2025, Prof. Emmanuel Eroumé A. Egom returned to Yabassi—the town where he grew up and attended both primary and secondary school—after 27 years. This homecoming became a moment of gratitude, service, and renewed commitment to uplifting the next generation.

In partnership with Heaven Foundation / Fondation CIEL, the team organized a large community outreach initiative titled “School Supply Distribution for Underprivileged Students in the Yabassi District.”
This impactful event included:

• Distribution of complete school supply kits to underprivileged students
• Fair distribution of all donated materials across participating schools
• Essential educational materials to support learning and academic success
• Vital signs assessment and cardiovascular screening for children and families
• Health education and preventive guidance offered on-site

Prof. Egom’s return to his hometown symbolized a bridge between past and future—a reminder that education, health, and compassion remain powerful tools for transforming lives and strengthening communities.
