Heaven Foundation - Fondation CIEL Inc. in the United States and Heaven Foundation CIEL in Canada, collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as “Heaven Foundation CIEL,” “the Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information through www.heavenfoundationciel.com and any related pages, forms, questionnaires, donation pages, contribution channels, resources, tools, or services operated by or on behalf of Heaven Foundation CIEL, collectively referred to as the “Site.”
By using the Site, submitting information, completing a form or questionnaire, signing up for updates, making a donation, or interacting with our resources, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. About Heaven Foundation CIEL
Heaven Foundation CIEL operates through registered charitable entities and contribution channels in both the United States and Canada.
United States: Heaven Foundation - Fondation CIEL Inc. is a nonprofit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our United States Employer Identification Number is EIN: 99-1424882.
Canada: Heaven Foundation CIEL is registered as a charity in Canada under the Income Tax Act. Our Canadian charity registration / business number is 790827620 RR0001.
Our mission is to promote a whole-person approach to health and well-being that honors both professional medical care and spiritual health. Our work may include spiritual health education, research-related initiatives, reflective tools, community support, CAMERS, CAMERS2, the Spirit Index, outreach programs, and resources related to whole-person well-being.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly. When you interact with the Site, we may collect information you choose to provide, including: name; email address; mailing address; phone number; country, state, province, city, or general location; communication preferences; messages, questions, or requests you send to us; newsletter, event, or update sign-up information; volunteer, program, or research-interest information; and information submitted through contact forms, program forms, questionnaires, reflection tools, donation forms, or other online forms.
Donation and Contribution Information. When you make a donation through the United States contribution channel, Canada contribution channel, or another approved giving method, we may collect donation-related information, including your name, email address, billing and mailing address, country of residence, donation amount, donation date, currency, selected contribution channel, recurring donation preferences, transaction confirmation details, receipt or tax acknowledgment information, and limited payment-related details provided by our payment processor (such as the last four digits of a card, card type, expiration month and year, transaction ID, or payment status). We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems. Receipts are issued by the entity or contribution channel that receives the donation.
Payment Information. Donations and other payments made through the Site may be processed by Stripe or another approved third-party payment processor. Your full payment card details are entered through and handled by the payment processor. Heaven Foundation CIEL does not receive or store your full payment card number, security code, or complete bank account information on its own systems.
Spiritual Health, CAMERS, CAMERS2, and Spirit Index Information. If you complete CAMERS, CAMERS2, the Spirit Index, a spiritual health questionnaire, a reflection tool, a research-interest form, or a related resource, we may collect information you voluntarily provide about your inner life, values, beliefs, emotions, thoughts, spiritual orientation, sense of meaning, responses, speech, spiritual practices, personal reflections, or areas of spiritual strain or coherence. This information may be sensitive. We treat it with care and use it only for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy, any consent language provided at the time of collection, and applicable law. These tools are used for spiritual, educational, reflective, research, and whole-person awareness purposes. They are not medical tests, psychological assessments, psychiatric evaluations, clinical screening tools, or substitutes for professional healthcare.
Health-Related Information You Choose to Provide. Some forms or communications may invite you to share information about physical health, mental health, stress, well-being, life circumstances, or experiences of illness or hardship. Please do not submit medical information unless a form specifically asks for it and you are comfortable sharing it. Information submitted through the Site is not a substitute for medical care and does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, counselor-client, spiritual director-client, or professional healthcare relationship.
Information Collected Automatically. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, dates and times of visits, general location based on IP address, and cookie identifiers or similar tracking information. We may use the information we collect to: process donations through the appropriate United States or Canada contribution channel; send donation confirmations, receipts, tax acknowledgments, and donor communications; manage recurring donations; respond to questions, requests, and communications; provide updates, newsletters, and event notices where you have asked to receive them; operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; administer forms, questionnaires, reflection tools, spiritual health resources, or program sign-ups; support spiritual health education and community-support initiatives; develop, refine, and improve CAMERS, CAMERS2, the Spirit Index, and related resources; support research-related, educational, or evaluation activities where appropriate and with applicable consent or notice; prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, payment disputes, chargebacks, or security incidents; comply with legal, tax, charitable, accounting, audit, reporting, recordkeeping, and regulatory obligations in the United States, Canada, or other applicable jurisdictions; and protect the rights, safety, privacy, and property of the Foundation, donors, participants, users, volunteers, staff, and others.
4. Sharing Between United States and Canada Entities
Because Heaven Foundation CIEL operates through charitable entities and contribution channels in both the United States and Canada, information may be shared between the United States and Canadian entities where appropriate for legitimate charitable, administrative, operational, donor-support, compliance, reporting, security, or recordkeeping purposes. We use reasonable safeguards when information is shared between entities or across borders.
5. Research, Questionnaires, and De-Identified Information
From time to time, Heaven Foundation CIEL may invite individuals to complete questionnaires, surveys, pilot tools, reflection forms, or research-related materials. Participation is voluntary. Where appropriate, we may use aggregated or de-identified information to evaluate, improve, validate, or develop our spiritual health tools and educational resources. Aggregated or de-identified information does not identify you personally. If a specific research activity requires additional consent, ethics review, or special privacy terms, those materials will be provided separately. Unless clearly stated otherwise, completing CAMERS, CAMERS2, the Spirit Index, or any questionnaire does not mean you are receiving medical care, mental health treatment, therapy, diagnosis, or professional healthcare services.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell donor personal information. We do not sell personal information submitted through CAMERS, CAMERS2, the Spirit Index, contact forms, donation forms, or spiritual health tools. We may share information only in limited circumstances, including: with trusted service providers who help us operate the Site, process donations, manage communications, provide technical support, analyze Site usage, store information, or support our charitable operations; with Stripe or other payment processors to process donations; between the United States and Canadian entities for legitimate charitable, operational, compliance, and donor-support purposes; when required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, legal process, tax obligation, charitable reporting requirement, or governmental request; when necessary to protect the rights, privacy, safety, security, or property of the Foundation, users, donors, participants, volunteers, staff, or others; in connection with a merger, restructuring, or transfer of operations, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections; and with your consent or at your direction.
7. Donor Privacy
We respect donor privacy. We may use donor information to process donations, provide receipts, maintain records, communicate with donors, respond to donor requests, comply with legal obligations, and support the Foundation’s charitable operations. We do not sell donor names, contact information, or donation history. We may publicly recognize donors only with permission or where a donor has clearly agreed to be acknowledged. Donation amounts, donor names, and donor contact information will not be publicly disclosed unless the donor has consented, disclosure is legally required, or disclosure is necessary for appropriate charitable, audit, tax, or regulatory purposes.
8. Payment Processing
Donations made through the Site may be processed by Stripe or another third-party payment processor. Stripe’s handling of payment information is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy, terms, and security practices. We do not store full payment card numbers, security codes, or complete bank account information on our own systems. Depending on the contribution channel selected, donations may be processed in U.S. dollars, Canadian dollars, or another available currency.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies, pixels, tags, analytics tools, and similar technologies to remember preferences, improve Site performance, understand how visitors use the Site, measure engagement, help protect the Site from misuse, and support communications, outreach, or advertising measurement where applicable. We may still send non-marketing messages, such as donation receipts, transaction confirmations, recurring donation notices, policy updates, or responses to your direct inquiries.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. 16. No HIPAA or Medical Record Relationship
Unless specifically stated in writing, information submitted through this Site is not part of a medical record maintained by Heaven Foundation CIEL. Heaven Foundation CIEL is not providing medical diagnosis, medical treatment, mental health treatment, therapy, counseling, or emergency care through the Site. Submitting information through the Site does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, counselor-client, spiritual director-client, or other professional healthcare relationship.
17. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Minors should not make donations, complete questionnaires, or submit sensitive information without appropriate parental or guardian involvement.

Our spiritual health education, CAMERS, CAMERS2, the Spirit Index, reflection tools, community-support work, and related resources are offered for spiritual, educational, reflective, research, and community-support purposes. They are not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health care, diagnosis, treatment, medication, therapy, counseling, emergency services, or advice from qualified healthcare professionals. Anyone with medical or mental health concerns should consult a qualified healthcare provider. In urgent or emergency situations, contact local emergency services immediately.
